Press Release: Hickam FCU creates over 150 Keiki and Kupuna IDs

Mar 11, 2024

‘AIEA—MARCH 11, 2024—Hickam Federal Credit Union provided 159 Keiki & Kupuna IDs at the Celebrate Safe Communities event at Pearlridge Center on March 9th, 2024. This service was provided to the public at no cost. Fifteen Hickam FCU staff and family volunteers took shifts working the booth, which was located in the Mauka wing's first floor, right under the Hickam FCU Pearlridge Branch.

While Keiki and Kupuna IDs cannot be used in any official capacity, they are a crucial resource in emergency situations. The IDs can help families locate or identify missing children and elders. The individual’s information, photo, and fingerprints are displayed on the card.

Hickam FCU was glad to provide the service to help make the community better, together.
