3 Easy Ways to Become A Member

Once you have determined that you are eligible to join Hickam FCU, there are three convenient ways to open an account:

1. Apply Online

Complete and submit our online Membership Application form.

2. Give Us A Call

You can call us at (808) 423-1391 (Oahu) or toll-free 1-800-432-4328 (Continental U.S. & Neighbor Islands only) and request a Membership Packet.

Return the following in the postage-paid envelope provided with the packet:

• Completed Account Card with your notarized signature. (Please read the accompanying disclosures and membership agreement.)
• Provide a notarized photocopy of your valid government-issued ID and any other supporting documents (if needed) to verify your identity if the information is not current.
• Enclose a check for the initial deposit of $5 (per person) to establish membership. (Please do not enclose cash.)

3. Visit One of Our Branches

To open an account at one of our convenient branches, please bring:

• A valid government-issued ID. (Driver's license, military identification, Federal or State ID, U.S. passport, alien registration card, or other type of official photo identification. IDs without a signature or photo, or information that is not current such as name or residential street address will require additional documents such as marriage certificate, current utility bill, post office address change card, current pay stub, etc.)
• Make an initial deposit of $5 (per person) to establish membership.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

In order to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens or is added to an account. We will ask for your name, residential street address, date of birth, social security number and other information that will allow us to verify your identity such as your driver’s license, military ID, Federal or State ID card, U.S. passport, or alien registration card. We may also require other identifying documents if the information on the ID is not current.
