Press Release: Hickam Federal Credit Union Raises $7,300 for Hawai'i Foodbank

PEARL CITY – OCTOBER 10, 2023 – Hickam Federal Credit Union recently concluded its Hawai'i Foodbank fundraiser with a total donation of $7,300. The fundraiser ran from August 1, 2023, through September 30, 2023, with a goal of $3,000. What began as a typical annual fundraiser for the Hawai'i Foodbank took a turn in its second week when the Maui wildfire disasters hit. Donors could support wildfire relief by designating their contribution to the Maui Food Bank. In light of the tragedies, Hickam FCU's members, staff, and community rallied together and helped surpass the original fundraiser goal.
